The new GEN4 Yamaha XSR900 has seen significant improvements over earlier models. These enhancements include better suspension, updated styling, and overall enhanced performance. However, the Euro 5 exhaust system has muted these advancements, reducing performance and hiding the beautiful sound of the triple-cylinder engine. We have developed a Stealth Bimodal exhaust system made from polished titanium to broaden our exhaust catalogue for this model. This exhaust is designed to enhance the bike's appearance, enhance the stunning engine sound, and unleash its full performance potential.

This exhaust system allows for quiet operation or unrestricted volume with the press of a button, thanks to its unique bimodal capability.

HOW IT WORKS

The exhaust can be redirected through two paths: one option is a baffled muffler, which takes the place of the deleted catalytic converter and is quieter. The other option allows for a completely unrestricted exhaust, maximising performance and sound, activated by a button typically mounted on one of the master cylinder bolts on the handlebars.

A custom wiring loom is provided with the exhaust, connecting to the Yamaha wiring harness under the seat without any cutting or soldering required.

This exhaust system eliminates the restrictive catalytic converter, significantly enhancing exhaust flow through Ti1 titanium headers and a link pipe. Additionally, it includes a removable mesh dB killer, allowing users to reduce noise levels for those who prefer a quieter overall experience.

Euro5+ Compatibility & Engine Management Notice

For 2024–2026 Euro5+ motorcycles equipped with dual lambda (O₂) sensors, installing a Vandemon exhaust system may trigger the check engine light (CEL). This occurs due to the ECU detecting changes in the catalytic converter’s operating parameters.
