Choose from two exhaust tones at the Press of a Button.
As noise regulations become more strict, Vandemon has developed a distinctive Bimodal Exhaust system that enables you to choose between a quiet mode and a straight-through unrestricted power mode at the press of a button. The exhaust system is made of polished Ti1 Titanium and features our renowned H2R slash-cut muffler.
How does it work?
A pre-muffler is positioned before the final H2R slash-cut muffler. Then, a specially designed titanium valve is mounted before the final muffler. When the valve is closed, the exhaust gases are redirected to the quiet first muffler, which reduces noise and exits finally through the final slash-cut H2R muffler. However, when the valve opens, the exhaust gas will pass straight through the pre- muffler's un-baffled section, followed by the H2R slash-cut muffler, allowing for a more direct path and loud exhaust. Switching between loud and quiet is achieved by a supplied handlebar press button.
Other advantages are that the entire exhaust system is more than 50% lighter than the OEM exhaust thanks to the use of lightweight Titanium, the same material used in MotoGP and Formula 1, and the elimination of the heavy steel muffler, headers, and catalytic converter. Additionally, this exhaust is polished to a high lustre, which retains its appearance over time without requiring any further polishing.
-
When fine-tuning the Stealth exhaust, the technician will personalize the tune to the valve open (loud mode) to maximize the engine's potential. It's important to note that the quiet mode should only be used while driving in urban areas and city limits, where the engine is operated at lower speeds, under 6,000 rpm. The Stealth mode restricts power above 6,000rpm and creates excessive exhaust back pressure. Therefore, it's recommended to use the loud mode while driving on the highway or during any high-performance riding.
The purpose of this exhaust is to allow the rider to control its volume, making it quieter when riding in urban areas and more powerful and louder when driving on open roads.

Tuning
There is no requirement to tune the engine to suit, but for best results, we recommend re-mapping. Additionally, the power valve and catalytic converter have been eliminated to accommodate this system, so please check your country's laws and regulations regarding removing these systems before choosing this product.
Our exhausts are professionally packaged to prevent damage in transit and arrive in a natural brushed finish that transforms to an iridescent blue, purple & gold colour beginning at the engine headers after only one heat cycle.
WHY BUY A TITANIUM EXHAUST?
Due to its strength, weight and corrosion quality, Titanium is found in the most demanding applications on Aircraft airframes, jet engine compressor blades and ducting, deep-sea saltwater vessels, steam turbine blades, rocket motor cases, etc. F1 and MotoGP.
OTHER ADVANTAGES OF TITANIUM:
Very light, Increased to-weight ratio
It won't corrode or change colour from exposure to water
Never need polishing like stainless steel & aluminium
Dissipates heat twice as fast as stainless steel
It won't distort or oxidise at high temperatures
IMPORTANT! Vandemon Exhaust systems are designed for performance and modest sound improvements. We at Vandemon do not try to meet noise emission standards because the results would be no different from what your OEM exhaust can already achieve. Check with your country's governing body regarding noise emission standards, rules, and regulations.
