BMW R1300GS / GSA Titanium Exhaust System & OEM Valve
Production dates: 2023-2025
The Vandemon Titanium Exhaust System for the BMW R1300GS / GSA is precision-engineered to deliver superior performance without compromising functionality.
Designed to retain the OEM exhaust valve, it ensures full noise compliance at cruising speeds, maintains optimal backpressure for enhanced low-end torque, and prevents ECU fault-light activation that would typically result from the deletion of the exhaust valve.
Constructed from lightweight, corrosion-resistant titanium, this system offers substantial weight savings of 3.2kg along with improved thermal efficiency and increased power output. Fully compatible with BMW Motorrad’s OEM side cases for seamless integration.
KEY FEATURES
- Material: Headers Ti1 Titanium
- Material: Muffler Ti1 Titanium
- Production Years: 2023-2025
- Surface Finish: Brushed
- Power Gain: +5 HP at 7600 RPM (Remapping is mandatory)
- Torque Gain: +6 Nm at 2900 RPM (Remapping is mandatory)
- Weight 5.3kg (OEM 8.5kg)
- Noise Levels: 95 Db (92 Db with silencers) @4000rpm
- OEM Valve Integration: Retains the ECU-controlled OEM valve
- Remapping is mandatory
- Won't Meet Emission Regulations
- Note: Upon installation on Euro 5+ models (with dual lambda sensors), the engine control unit (ECU) may activate a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) and illuminate the malfunction indicator light (MIL) due to deviations from the factory-calibrated catalytic converter, which has been rendered redundant.
PERFORMANCE BENEFITS
- OEM Valve Retention:
- Maintains the ECU-controlled OEM valve to manage sound levels at specific RPM ranges, ensuring compliance with European noise standards.
- No need for a servo delete, preserving smooth operation without compromising performance.
- Weight and Heat Reduction:
- A 3kg reduction compared to the stock exhaust improves load management for riders with heavy gear.
- Eliminates the catalytic converter, reducing heat generation and fire hazards when parking on long grass.
- Titanium cools twice as fast as stainless steel and remains free from corrosion or staining.
- Enhanced Sound and Flow:
- The large, straight-through muffler design eliminates restrictions, producing a deep, non-intrusive tone while ensuring full free-flow performance during aggressive throttle use.
APPEARANCE
- The natural brushed titanium finish transforms into vibrant spectrum colours after the first ride.
- Unlike stainless steel, titanium resists staining, corrosion, and discolouration, ensuring a lasting premium look.
ADVANCED MANUFACTURING
- Precision Welding: Proprietary dual-sided welding creates ultrasonically perfect joints with a distinctive overlapping fishbone pattern.
- Premium Material: Titanium’s unmatched strength and lightness make it a trusted choice for high-performance industries, including aerospace and motorsport.
WHY CHOOSE TITANIUM?
- Exceptional Strength-to-Weight Ratio
- Corrosion Resistance: Resists water, acid, and salt
- No Polishing Required: Retains its pristine appearance
- Superior Heat Dissipation: Twice as efficient as stainless steel
- High-Temperature Resilience: Resists distortion and oxidation

IMPORTANT!
Vandemon exhaust systems are designed for performance and modest sound improvements. We at Vandemon do not try to meet noise emission standards because simply the end results would be no different than what your OEM exhaust can already achieve. Check with your country's governing body regarding noise emission standards rules and regulations.
