Vandemon exhaust headers free up lost power by removing restrictions from the OEM catalytic converter whilst allowing the use of the OEM BMW muffler.
Made from lightweight Ti1 Titanium, this component offers a weight saving of 2.3 kg, which is a significant reduction for those who need to remain within their motorcycle's maximum load limit. This is particularly important when your bike is heavily loaded with provisions and equipment needed for your journey.
This system maintains the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) valve that is controlled by the engine control unit (ECU). This means that the exhaust servo is preserved, eliminating the need for a servo delete module or the requirement to disable it in a tune to avoid a warning light on the dashboard. Retaining this OEM feature enhances rideability at lower RPMs without impacting peak performance. Additionally, it allows the exhaust to remain at a reasonable volume during cruising and light throttle applications. When the throttle is opened aggressively, the ECU activates the valve, providing full free-flow performance and an increased sound.
Replacing your OEM exhaust allows you to delete the heavy catalytic converter, which is a major source of heat due to the chemical reactions it generates. Additionally, titanium cools twice as quickly as the OEM stainless steel exhaust and won’t stain, corrode, or require polishing to maintain its appearance.
- Material: Ti1 Titanium
- With Inline Exhaust Valve for OEM functionality
- Surface finish: Brushed
- Power: +4hp at 7400rpm
- Torque +6.9n/m at 2700rpm
- Weight: 2.5kg
- Noise Db 88 Using OEM muffler
Appearance:
The surface finish is a natural brushed Titanium which, when heated after only one ride, changes to all layers of the colour spectrum with the added advantage over stainless steel that Titanium won't stain, corrode or ever need polishing. In addition, Titanium has a very high resistance to acid salt and dissipates heat twice as fast as steel.
Manufacture:
We at Vandemon use a closely guarded welding process that welds both sides of each joint, making for ultrasonically perfect joints with a beautiful & consistent overlapping fishbone appearance.
Tuning:
Tuning to suit is recommended by a competent technician.
WHY BUY A TITANIUM EXHAUST?
Due to its strength, weight and corrosion quality, Titanium is found in the most demanding applications on Aircraft airframes, jet engine compressor blades and ducting, deep-sea saltwater vessels, steam turbine blades, rocket motor cases, etc. F1 and MotoGP.
OTHER ADVANTAGES OF TITANIUM:
- Very light, Increased power to weight ratio
- Won't corrode or change colour from exposure to water
- Never needs polishing like stainless steel & aluminium.
- Dissipate heat twice as fast as Stainless Steel
- Won't distort or oxidise at High Temperatures

IMPORTANT! Vandemon Exhaust systems are designed for performance and modest sound improvements. We at Vandemon do not try to meet noise emission standards because the results would be no different than what your OEM exhaust can already achieve.
