Due to increasingly stringent regulations worldwide, Vandemon has created a bimodal valved slip-on muffler that removes the OEM catalytic converter and heavy steel mufflers. This unique exhaust system offers two different tones, Quiet or Loud, which the rider can switch between using a button on the handlebars. Aside from the improved sound and performance, this exhaust also provides substantial weight savings.
How Does It Work?
The exhaust system is comprised of three mufflers, with a titanium valve designed for this purpose. When the valve is closed, all of the exhaust gases are directed through the baffled central muffler & and exhaust exits via the left-hand muffler; this results in an exhaust tone that is as quiet as the OEM exhaust. However, when the valve is open, the exhaust will exit through the third RH muffler, which offers the least resistance to gas flow. This enables a deep tone and maximum performance with no restriction to gas flow. An electric servo operates the valve, which is insulated from heat and is completely weather-resistant.
-
When tuning the Stealth exhaust, the technician will customise the tune to the valve open (loud mode). The quiet mode should only be used in suburbia and city limits when the engine is operated at lower engine speeds, as peak power is restricted in stealth at higher engine RPM, resulting in excessive exhaust back pressure if the engine is raced.
-
The sole purpose of this exhaust is for the rider to be able to quieten the exhaust so as not to cause a nuisance to the general public and not be noticed when required, as well as have the luxury of a louder and more powerful exhaust when out on the open roads.
Appearance:
The surface finish is natural brushed titanium, which won't stain, corrode, or need polishing. Titanium is very resistant to acid and salt and dissipates heat twice as fast as steel.
For additional performance and appearance, we recommend our Stainless Steel or Titanium Headers to complement this Exhaust.
- Material: Ti1 Titanium Mufflers and Link pipes
- Surface finish: natural brushed
- Weight: 6.2kg (OEM Mufflers and Cat 12.2kg)
- Torque +54%@2500rpm after tune.
- Hp +25%@6760rpm after tune. Performance figures achieved after dyno tune & DNA air filter
- Noise Stealth On 86Db - Stealth Off 96db
- Not Euro4 or Euro5 compliant

We at Vandemon do not try to meet noise emission standards because the results would be no different from what your OEM exhaust can achieve.
